Korg i3 style player

Hi Don Many thanks for your reply. I had actually seen this site before but didn't think the editor actually played the styles. I'm quite long-in-the-tooth and even when I started gigging with the i3 in 1993 I was past my sell-by date ! :) So I'm also a bit of a technophobe (I think that's the word ...

korg i3 style player

Hi Everybody Can anybdy let me know if (and if so, HOW!) I can obtain style player software to use on my PC so I can audition the large collection of styles I have ready to load into my i3 ! I do not have the style expansion kit, and anyway it is just not feasible time-wise to load all these styles ...

i3

Hi again Shirreff Yes, still very interested. I've got one at the moment which I bought from someone up-country, but it was mis-described to me , and has a broken bottom key, has some home-painted buttons, and quite a few dodgy buttons. I'm the kind of musician who loves to play a board that not ...

i3

Hi Shirreff Thanks again for your reply and advice. I might have mislead you about the instruments. I don't have an i40m, I was just wondering if it would play i3 backing sequences; if so I would have got one. But no probs, I will wait until your i3 becomes available. Is it expanded at all (32 user ...

i3

Hi Shirreff, Thanks for your reply and advice. You're probably right, I was just hoping that maybe the i40m would have done the job. But since you have an i3 which you may be selling soon, perhaps you will let me know as soon as you decide when and how much... Thanks again regards ken (1stripey) :)

pa60

Hi guys There doesn't seem to be much info about the PA60 out there. It's mostly either about the PA50 or the PA80. Does the 60 compare favourably against the 50? Not so much the 80 cos that has a higher spec. Might seem silly, but I just like the darker look of the 60 against the silver of the 50 ...

i3 backing sequences

Hi Guys I gigged around Britain and Majorca for 15 years, using an i3 (always will be the best styles, drums, etc IMHO; and I stacked up lots of very important & sentimental backing sequences which I'd like to keep playing. Can anybody tell me if there is any smaller board/module that will play ...

i3 / pc

Hey Pete Thanks for the advice. I'll try all that and see what we get. Will let you know asap. Under normal operating conditions, should the i3 accept a diskette formatted on a PC, and vice versa?? Thanks for your continuing help Pete. I've had this problem for some time and posted similar questions ...

i3 / pc

Hi Pete Thanks for your quick reply. I seem to be going round in circles. I just did a full format of a floppy on the PC which was OK. Then when I put this disk into the i3, it whirred for a while before saying "cannot read disk", with the same result when I tried to save a file from the i3 onto the ...

i3 / pc

Hi Don't know if this is a dopey question, but if it is please bear with me. When trying to load a file from my Korg i3 to my PC, I get a message "you need to format this disc first, which kinda defeats the object. Also a similar thing when trying it the opposite way (i.e from PC to i3) My knowledge ...

for sale TR61 and.......

Hi Guys

Hope you are all well.

I have a TR61 to sell, virtually mint; an i5M, in good nick for its age; and a Technics WSA1 acoustic modelling synth (yes I know, but it's actually a pretty good board...). Am open to any reasonable offers.

Regards, ken. (1stripey)

PA800 for sale

Hi everyone. I have a PA800 for sale. The keyboard has been looked after like a baby, is immaculate, as new, virtually never been used, and certainly never has been out of the house. Boxed with manuals, etc, any sensible offer will secure it, as I am looking to get an M3. I also have a BOSS Micro B ...
