have you tried tweaking the SG Piano waveform? sorry, i know it's not exactly what you were asking about, but that's the closest i can think of right now.

the strings and the flute are the only tron sounds available on the mkxl+. there's no possibility of loading new samples either.

i understand that you want to go hardware, but there are many free mellotron vsts out there and they sound great.

have you tried moving the tempo knob? some effects are sync'ed to the master tempo.

i'm not sure if there's a setting you can adjust on your audio interface (usually the sample amount or latency). There's also a similar setting in Live's option menu.

do you route the audio back to Live? what audio interface are you using?

i read somewhere that windows has a limit to the devices you plug in the usb port. if i remember correctly, it was 10 devices. i can't confirm that but the same issue happened to me a couple of years ago. i did uninstall some drivers and the korg driver worked. and you are correct, i never had that ...

don't worry, i feel the same way about connecting anything to my pc, too. especially, flash drives and sd cards from friends. :p

unlike regular pc, the kross recognizes far fewer instructions, with very limited read-write access locations.

i would suggest formatting your new card on your kross. that guarantees that your kross will recognize the card later.
