Bernie does the song have multiple time signatures somewhere within the midi (like a half-bar fill?) Could it be a Digital Rights Management (DRM) issue? If it's a Tune1000 MIDI, is it somehow "protected" from edits, and does the Korg PA4X support this type of protection?? I don't know the answers ...

Harry, I never meant to imply that you were hitting the wrong notes, or that your timing was anything less than professional. Arrangers are musical computers running at millions of cycles per second. When you press keys in the chord recognition area, you're not "playing" notes. You're conveying note ...

Do you have "memory" activated? In other words, when you play a chord and then release all keys in the chord section (left of the split), is there a chord designation still visible in the display screen? Or does it say "N.C." or No Chord? Your arranger needs a recognized chord to calculate which ...

Fingering on the Korg is a little less convenient for the pop & rock tunes I like to play... Roland recognizes the third below the root as a minor chord. Example: play Eb-C. Roland -> E minor (very common and useful.) Korg -> Eb6 (more rare.) With Bass Inversion enabled... Roland will recognize E-C ...

The EK-50 has the "on bass" setting embedded in the chord recognition mode. This is a bad idea-- on better Korgs and Roland arrangers it is a separate setting which effectively doubles the number of chord recognition modes. Chord recognition is the sine qua non of arrangers and there can never be ...

Chord recognition question
Hi folks, How does your Korg arranger recognize the following key combination: Split: On Chord recognition mode: Fingered 1 Bass Inversion: On Keys pressed to the left of the split: E1 and C2 My Pa800 acknowledges this as "E #5" I'm wondering whether older Korgs like the i-series, Pa50 or ...

Lika, thank you so much for your hard work finding and documenting these bugs! I'm curious though... Have you determined whether they are NEW with the PA1000? Do they exist on other Korgs that share this basic OS (Pa4X, Pa900, Pa600?) I know the OS made some big changes between the Pa3X and Pa900 ...

Does MicroArranger have ANY advantage over Liverpool?
Hello Korg enthusiasts! Looking into getting something compact for travel. I know the Liverpool has some exclusive Beatles styles in a protected memory area, which cannot be exported to other Korgs. I also know that the factory styles from the KMA, Pa80, etc., can be imported into the Liverpool ...

Can a chord sequence be saved? Or is this exclusive to Pa4x?
Hi folks, I know that the Pa900 has a chord sequencer similar to the one introduced on the Pa3X. I also know that the Pa4X allows a user to save chord sequences as part of a songbook entry, etc. Question for those who own a Pa900 and use this feature... Can the chord sequence be saved, or does it ...
