you play keyboards longer than 30 years and still don't know the different between keyboard action and velocity response? Anyway... what is wrong with korg is not the action for sure, but maybe the velocity response... Ok, good action... but if u cant reach the max velocity value with a keyboard ...

This is the best synth action keyboard I’ve ever played. ok, ok... but why with this "fantastic" synth-action i cant play an el.piano with full range dinamic? Why with curves 1,2,3 or 4 the max vel.value plyable is 115/118 and with curves 5,6,7 the min value is 30/40... where is the full range c ...

Re: Which it The Best Triton Extreme or Korg M3
M3 sounds better and many new features are ready to use but the Triton extreme keybed is really better with great synth-action and velocity response.Abo Fara7 wrote:Which it The Best Triton Extreme or Korg M3

Unfortunately, most people would disagree with you. Nearly all user reviews (and all pro reviews) think the 61/73 synth action is fantastic. Good thing fot most people...but not for me ;) I play keyboards from 30 years and the M3 keybed (61/73) is the worse "feel-response" synth-action ever tryed ...

I have sold the M3-73 keybed...
After many problems with velocity response with the M3 keyboard, I have sold the M3-73 keybed keeping the module only. Now I control M3 from a XS and play really better with all feel and velocity (0-127). Korg has failed with this new keybed... the triton series was really better and much more ...

No, the M3 keyboard is way better than the yamaha. Only the Access Virus TI keyboard is comparable to the M3. :D The keyboard is good... the problem is only the bad velocity curves implemented in the M3 O.S.... these curves are the same of triton series but M3 mount a new keybed and then korg will ...

I like the action of M3 keybed... but no one can tell me that with all vel.curves is possible to play with all dinamic range 0-127... is not true! Its a bug. Promaster, I would suggest you contact your Korg Country Distributor's Tech Support to report this problem. It would be interesting to see if ...

I like the action of M3 keybed... but no one can tell me that with all vel.curves is possible to play with all dinamic range 0-127... is not true! Its a bug. Try to play a sound with curve=4 (max force) and then with curve=6 (max force)... now try again to obtain the same max volume and dinamic with ...

Interesting, have you tried changing the velocity and aftertouch settings in global mode on your M3 ? Another factor might be the way you have your M3 set-up, (i.e. having the M3 on a solid surface like a table, seems to produce better keyboard action, than if you have it supported on keyboard rack ...

M3 played with XS keyboard... another planet!
Im using M3 played, in midi, with the Motif XS keyboard... this is amazing! M3 keyboard is really poor in dinamic and expressivity compare to the one of the XS. With XS i can obtain all 127 velocity curve value with maximum expression for pianissimo and fortissimo. I dont understand why Korg have ...
