I had similar when using mpc 500 as master, this only happens sometimes, I noticed it happened sometimes when the first noise from the sampler is not bang on the first beat, not sure tho, not very knowledgeable on midi etc, however when the samples are bang on the first beat, like a kick or whatever ...
