Re: connecting Global to iPad
I use the iDock and it works fine, the Griffin Studio Connect http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/StudioCon/ is another great option.

SV1 + VR-09 = Bliss
I own both the SV1-73 and the VR-09 together they make a pretty kick ass rig for live gigs. The VR-09 covers a lot of sounds that the SV-1 lacks and has a much better organ. Both take up little stage space and are easy to schlep.

I pre-ordered one
The plan is to use it WITH my SV-1 73. Organs, Synth, PCM sounds these are needed. Is a demo, the organ starts at 7:45.

Motivation
Ooh! Meeeow! Wink The new PX-350 is a fantastic instrument. Decent sounds, great keybed, and LIGHT! That alone would earn Casio the right to be called a musical instrument company - even if they hadn't made the CZ-series back when. And of course, the XW-P1. [/quote] I guess I was trying to motivate ...

Too Bad
I had hoped it would be better. Maybe they could hire someone from CASIO. Its a shame a calculator company can put a fully weighted, light weight hammer action on a $500 piano and Korg can't even manage it on a $3k Kronos!
Seems Korg only knows how to do mini keys now.

It wouldn't be too expensive
The changes needed for most people are really easy. 1) Change/improve the keybed! 2) Upgrade the pianos to the ones in Kronos/Krome 3) +1000 on the midi off button! 4) Make the volume midi 5) Use a better amp model! Or at least make the drive not be so damn sensitive. It hard to add subtle overdrive ...
