What I have since learned is that none of these daw/devices send clock when they are stopped. I found that Cakewalk/Sonar send the clock as transport is stopped, but receiving devices does not act unless Start/continue is sent. Standard behaviour. You obviously need things to start and stop in sync ...

You can see this awful behaviour in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Roo-EckQOg I returned my Prologue to the store because of this issue. It behaved like this on both ports using Logic, Ableton and Elektron devices. What I have since learned is that none of these daw/devices send clock ...

Hold down 3 keys and an arpeggiator will loop in 3s. Hold down 5 keys and an arpeggiator will loop in 5 notes. You are confusing how an arpeggiator operates with how a step sequencer operates. They are not the same thing. The Prologue has an arpeggiator and not a step sequencer. It's easy to create ...

It would actually be really useful for everyone to test this on their own Prologue as it will help every owner get bugs fixed. Just because its something that doesn't affect your workflow doesn't mean you should ignore it and not get involved as one day there may be something that does that we can ...

How many of you are not using the Korg midi driver because you are unable to install it? I am unable to install it as it is not compatible with OSX Catalina. I installed osx Mojave on an external drive so I could install the Korg midi driver. I tested it with a fresh Ableton install with the Korg ...

PS. This is not a USB driver issue. The issue remains with midi USB, midi Din, from 2 different DAWs and my elektron gear via midi din.

Workaround: because trying to get the Arp to playback nicely when you start playback in the middle of an arrangement is a nightmare.>>> Workaround is to set the internal BPM to match your track so there isn't a bpm change when the clock switches. It works much better that way. Hopefully they will ...

Got my new Prologue 8 today and already I'm annoyed with it because of this. Pretty sure I know what it is. Clock options are Auto:USB or Auto: Midi. The 'auto' option is the culprit here. Where the clock stops the Prologue is defaulting back to the internal clock. When the clock starts the 'auto ...

It doesn't reset it properly on the mini keyboard version with ASDR set to LFO repeat it seems the keyboard does not reset the LFO properly and its highly unusable/unmusical. It should not behave the way it does and it doesn't do it on the module version. It's almost like that if you hit the key in ...

Has there ever been any kind of fix or mod to rectify this on the keyboard version?

Any opinions on the Behringer version in comparison? Did they get all this stuff right? Do they sound as good?

Monologue midi clock sync is lagging.

When I sync my monologue to my Octatrack using midi clock, monologue seems to lag by a few noticeable milliseconds behind the master. It’s almost as if the start command is slow to respond. If I send it notes from the OT the timing is tight (as are my other synths). If I sample the output and trim t ...

I assume the modular version does the same thing? While it'a annoying this fault is there I'm not going to let it put me off buying one as I've fallen in love with the demos out there. If it becomes a major issue hopefully they will fix it in the rumoured full size version coming soon.

the last step sounds like exactly the function that I asked if it had in the first place? or does it effect every drum in the pattern?

So how do you go about it if the functionality isn't there? I like to work quickly. Working stuff out mathematically sounds like a headache recipe. Can it be done on the iPad version using your method? I'm finding it a bit frustrating, ESP as it can be done so easily on the iMS-20.
