yeah... super gadgets the V2's. Even with their faults. I agree....I mean I don't mind it being plastic but a different type of plastic like the first. A few grams heavier isn't a bad trade-off if it means its a bit more robust rather than the brittle eggshell casing it has now. Then again maybe ...

Yeah..I really like the Korg stuff but maybe it's just me but everything they do seems to have 1 major flaw. I had the mini kaossilator 1, good build quality unlike the new one but it was missing functions. That was maybe due to them trying to keep the price down and keep there margins high. Then I ...

Kaossilator 2 - loading 8bar looped drum break / samples
Hi all thought I'd post this little tip... don't know if it's already been posted so my apologies if this is a duplicated post. This is just my way but feel free to do it slightly different if you want. I normally have pre-edited drum breaks or samples taken from MP3's etc.. I edit these using the ...

Mini KP 2 - Mic sucks
Hey all... I purchased a mini KP2 and a kaossilator 2. They're cool little gadgets but the cheap plastic build is awful. Unfortunately I had to return the mini KP2 because the mic didn't work. Or at least I thought so. I tried the Kaossilator 2 Mic and it works fine. Anyway I got a replacement sent ...

common issue
well after trawling all the previous threads it appears to be extemely common and no one seems to have a fix for it. It also appears that there are many people who actually have faulty devices. It seems my thoughts on this were correct. Nice promotional videos but the truth is it's a cheap piece of ...

it doesn't work at all
well after installing the midi drivers I went into the setup settings of the installed driver software. All looks fine it says nanopad2 device #1 midi in 1 / midi out 1 etc... It still won't update the firmware showing error "found no midi port". I then installed the Kontrol Editor library software ...

Updating firmware on nanopad 2
Hi there, Another gadget that sounds too good to be true. Jeez I can't believe these companies are still using crap midi language or at least haven't come up with decent software. I just sold a midi DJ set cos their midi support was useless and I got nowhere with it. Anyway I'm seriously pissed cos ...
