I saw somebody was selling a complete MS2000 control-board on eBay.
Maybe that's solving your problem ?

[microKONTROL] firmware version

Hello, Just got a 2nd-hand microKONTROL and suddenly two questions popped up: - Is updating to firmware-version 1.03 as dangerous as some horror-stories tell ? Or is the update just working fine for most ? - How can I see which firmware is present ? Maybe it's already at 1.03. Are there some 'hold ...

Have never seen a dedicated bag, that'd be cool !

Do you have a link ?

The MS2000(B) indeed a nightmare to find a nice case/bag for, unless going custom-made...

Thanks for the idea, would be fine to add a small additonal thing like this. Only drumbox remaining here an old Alesis, unfort. it doesn't do this. And the Dr550-II I had neither I thought. So I had a look at the various DR-models and as I understood I need one with the 'Tap Tempo' button ...

Hello, Before upgrading to 1.07 I was wondering if I could check which version is currently in the MS2000. Was assuming such a thing could be displayed during startup, but it isn't. Is there perhaps some magic button-sequence that shows the current version ? (like for instance hold 'a certain ...

Options for Mod Sequence pattern switching ?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any smart methods to seemlessly switch from one Mod Sequence pattern to another. I realize with a split-program you could go from one pattern to another at the other side of the split, but from there to a third ? Any nifty method possible here perhaps ? I figure a ...

Tap Tempo for Arpeggiator

Hi, For a more direct way of setting the arpeggiator-speed, it'd obviously been nice if there had been a Tap Tempo button on the MS2000 already. Or at least a mode for the footswitch to do this, but OK, no more OS-updates for the MS2000. It's clearly an often requested thing (like for instance here ...

Looks like v1.07 did install well on my MS2000, but the documented 'hold MOD-SEQ ON/OFF + 5' while powering up does not seem to display the OS version for confirmation... ... anybody has seen this working ? Or is it displayed really briefly ? I see something flashing by after the 1st KORG-screen ...

Looks like a blown electrolytic capacitor, just like the other caps near it (black plastic tubing, white legending - probably same value, but hard to tell after the explosion). Can you tell what kind of info is mentioned on the PCB near the blown part ? Does it start with a 'C' ? If this is the only ...

Bought a sh MS2000 and one key didn't work either. As it turned out the 'rubber sensor' below it worked fine when pressed 'by finger'. Most likely it has a problem though, since the others work fine. The key itself is fine as well. I temporarily fixed it with some tape 'inside the key', making the ...

There's an awful lot of confusion over this. I saw Korg did their best to explain it, there's this pdf that combines the various info: http://www.korg.com/downloads/pdf/Legacy_Differences.pdf Might already be known, but for those that hadn't seen it.... It's not clear to me though that IF you keep ...

'old' KLC-1: two questions

Hi all, Coming back to using my KLC-1 with the MS-20 USB Controller after a while. Must admit I'm not fully updated with all newer possibilities here, but for now sticking to the old KLC-1 would already be nice. Please allow me two simple questions, perhaps someone has a few answers. They'll be ...
