exb scsi with a twist (nice looking product)
No, i am not affiliated with them at all, but i just stumpled across this cool solution for the ones of you who think about buying a scsi-expansion for your Triton classic/rack: http://zahermusic.com/store/products.php?product=EXB%252dSSD-All%252din%252done-Solid-State-Disk-for-KORG-TRITON-Replaces ...

On its Wiki, they post that is IS compatible with the 5080, but there's no mention of the Triton rack: http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=SCSI2SD_V5_Compatibility ..Joe Hi Joe, i saw that also, but at one moment in time, i was the one that reported that the EX5R worked fine with the ...

scsi2sd for the rack
Hi, tried to connect my scsi2sd (version 5) in its external box + term power from the db25 on the backside of my rack, but when i turned the Triton on, it soon after dumped a system error on the screen. I tried two more times with the same result, but the third time, the power led on the scsi2sd ...

Alternative display for the Triton rack
Hi, would anyone happen to know the specifics of the display that is used on the Triton rack (i.e controller, dimensions, etc). I believe that it uses a 240x64 dot matrix display, but the rest i'm not at all sure about. The reason i'm asking is because i would like to swap it out for a different ...

TR-rack owner
Got a very nice TR-rack today. Have been the owner of a Triton classic (61) version with 2xpcm expansion + moss-board and was hesitant at first, but, boy... the trinity engine sure sounds great (much more than anticipated actually). Only bother is that i feel that the various soundbanks overlap ...

CF scsi
Nice xini. I hope you enjoy your "new" Triton :-) Did Artmix actually make you a converter to allow for the scsi connector to be an internal one? I was lucky enought to be one of the last ppl (?) to order one of the internal scsi kits from scsiforsamplers and is using a PCB-60 reader/writer with ...

Hi Luca
have a look here: http://tritonhaven.com/downloads/disks.html
should contain bank a,b,c and d.
Let us know if it doesn't work. I might have the factory disks somewhere.

Batch process sound banks
Hi,
is there a way to process an entire bank (using some pc software). What i specifically want is to iterate over all sounds and disable the "latch" arpeggio in the Triton (if that is set)

you "could"
A couple of years ago, ScsiForSamplers sold a kit that would let you mount internal scsi devices inside the Triton (i.e usually a cf-reader/writer in place of where the floppy normally sits). I have this kit myself (together with a pcd-50 cf unit). As for the space inside the triton... perhaps it ...

cards
Hi,
i believe it does. I use a proper 32gb card in my TR-61 without problems (and it is really a genuine card, no knock-off which says 32 but is in reality a 2gb kind)
