that's a great idea... what would be the best solution .. a library / programmer that reads M1 combi / prog files ..imports them into kronos .. a translator . I got as afar as importing M1 sounds into the software version ... still a bit unwieldy in the studio the Kronos has compatible PCM files ...

the whole PC would lock up.. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr loop. I have a dual OS.. XP & win7 .. my sound card is a Creamware PULSAR ,, german made hi end .. but discontinued.. actually very good specs. Kronos sends out active sensing ,, & MIDI clock ... these two are the culprits , that kept locking up my PC buffer. running Cubase VST... I discovered while monitoring the MIDI data in .. from a Pulsar Card extension.. that there was a constant stream of MIDI clock data... that would soon , clog up ...

Sample library set up load , edit... etc.. I have not delved into the sample player potential with Kronos ... the EDITOR librarian could make setting up & loading samples into Kronos would be a very very useful addition to it's programming. fast , simple & easy to understand ,, owboutdit Korg ?

I bought a PC3 88 ... & found the programming a totally alien protocol... I could not get my head around it... I bought it on the premise that I could port over old K2600 sounds.. I used "3rd world" from a K2600 years & along with a couple of others & wanted to revive the project.. they were not ...

I still haven't got to the bottom of my Kronos... it's programming is deep & wide...

My Korg M1 was completely transparent to me ... I could program that in my sleep ..
My Korg DW8000 was also very straight forward...

but 9 synth engines are way too much for me to conquer...

never an issue... Kronos ,, the best keyboard I have ever owned.. very powerful .. if it takes 2 mins to get going.. OK ,, I'm sure this is the best they can do.... cheers J

I bought an M1rex thinking I could load all those Combis from T2 into M1rex ..… to load all my combis , programs & global data.. but the sysex T2 file ...
