I thought is had to do with the contact strips.

Returning from holiday I discovered a dead key on my Kronos 61 (first B note). Can I repair it myself? (Warrenty is over.) Do I need to replace the rubber contact strip (http://www.syntaur.com/3900.html); will that solve my problem? Another B note has a tendency to sustain longer than other keys ...

I have one key (B3) that sustains longer in any patch then other keys. It looks like it does not give its note off command in time. I think it is a mechanical problem.

Anybody experiences the same problem?

I use my Kronos 61 with an M-Audio Keystation 88es. This keystation does not have any velocity curves. I can set the velocity curve in the Global mode (P0-1a) to 3 and the Convert Position (1–1a) to Postmidi but this will also affect the internal keyboard. Any ways to change it independently?
