Member can't log in or get any help!
I am posting this on behalf of a member of my own forum (yamahamusicians.com) who has recently bought a Korg Kronos. We do have some Kronos owners on our forum but obviously not as many as on this forum. He is having some issues that we cannot currently help with so he registered here. However, he ...

That's the thing about Kronos. It has great longevity. There is so much packed in there that I doubt you could ever really "need" another keyboard. Of course "wanting" another keyboard is an entirely different thing ;) I know Yamaha have software updates planned for Montage which will bring in extra ...

So I thought I would jump in on this thread and bring it back to the original topic as I have had the Montage 7 on loan from Yamaha since the end of January. First I have to say there is NO comparison between Kronos and Montage. The only similarities are in the price and "think" Montage is actually ...

Good thing I checked with Korg, this is what they say. Taktile isn't the best match for iPad as TAKTILE will not work from bus power, it can be done with a powered hub but by this point it's getting a bit messy. I would probably suggest a nanoKONTROL ST as this works seamlessly and cable free via ...

So your answer is yes. I read in another forum that the templates only controlled the instruments and not the Gadget player (DAW) in itself. Well just to make absolutely sure I have just fired off an email to a contact at Korg so I should be able to supply a definitive answer soon, unless someone ...

Re: Taktile transport control in Gadget
Taktile can control all the instruments in Gadget so you should be fine. Was there something specifically you wanted to do?hgu wrote:Hi!
Can I control Gadget with the transport controls on Taktile?

Bit late to this one but yes it does. I have used both the nanokey Studio and Taktile with Gadget and they are both fine. If I were choosing right now I would go for Taktile as it's more versatile with it's complement of faders, more pads, ribbon controller and hardware pitch bend and mod wheels ...

The Yamana MOXF actually has separate Octave and Transpose buttons on the front panel. Octaves can be shifted by + or - three and the Transpose button allows you to move up or down 11 semi-tones. It's just a little more intuitive not necessarily easier than using the KROME's menu system but that ...

The other little niggle is the lack of any transpose buttons on the KROME. Both Roland and Yamaha include them on their keyboards so why not KORG? You can transpose on the Krome using the "Global" function. One button press, a touch of the screen, a little (or big, depending on how far you want to ...

Actually since my last post I have owned the Yamaha MOXF with 1Gb flash card and the Roland FA06 and the thing that, for me stands out on both of these is the usb audio interface, which of course the KROME lacks. I only ever use keyboards at home so for me the less cables the better and being able ...

Well i didn't get the Pa1. Been through a few keyboards since I posted that question and at the moment I am weighing up whether to get the Korg Krome or the Kronos. I am leaning toward the Krome because it does what I need it to do and costs substantially less than a Kronos. Glad to hear your liking ...
