In other words: It is not possible to record, copy/put the Pattern Sequencer pattern data to a Sequencer (MIDI channel)? I believe it should be possible though, as the KROSS Parameter Guide manual says the following: --- Step Seq The MIDI transmit channel of the step sequencer in Program mode is ...

Check the Sequencer Event Edit page in the Kross Parameter Guide (page 150 in both Kross, and Kross2 Parameter Guides). Individual MIDI events (e.g. note on/off, Control Change) can be inserted, deleted, and ranges of measures can be copied and pasted to create repeating patterns. It's a bit of a ...

YES! Pattern Seqencer CAN be recorded into MIDI Sequencer
In short, is there a way to put, copy/transform, or record Pattern Sequencer data, into a regular MIDI track on Korg Kross? As there's no Step Recording onboard, I need to find a way to record patterns to its onboard Sequencer for further editing with Event Edit. I know that Sequencer channel 16 is ...

There are 64-bit versions of Soundquest's MIDI Quest, and both the M3 and M50 feature in the list of supported instrument modules in MIDI Quest 12 Beta version. It's worth contacting Soundquest about the suitability of their software. https://squest.com/Products/MidiQuest12/ . Thanks for your input ...

KORG M3/M50 64-bit Editor Librarian?
Hi there, I'm considering buying a Korg M3 or M50 for a specific project. However, the VST editor found on the Korg website only shows the 32-bit version. As such therefore it is not possible to use it in a modern DAW sequencer. Has anyone succeeded in solving that problem? I know that it can be ...

A switch could be positioned externally so that it is activated as a key is pressed, and adjusted in such a way that the switch contacts close just as the second key contact closure occurs. The depth of keypress required could initially be established by placing an external mechanical key stop, and ...

...from first finger contact with the keyboard key. Maybe I expressed myself unclearly. What I mean is the latency of the Korg Nautilus internal sound engine - AFTER the PRESSED key sends a signal to the sound engine (simplified). Not since the first finger contacts the key, those are two different ...

Korg Nautilus Internal Latency Is Higher Than 2ms?
Hello, I read an SOS article where they claim that the Korg Wavestation's internal sound engine has 2 ms latency. For me, this is perfectly fine (I own a Wavestation) since I natively work with sound cards that have 0.7ms latency (2 x 0.7ms latency gives 1.4ms for the entire DAW). I can't see that ...

Re: 1-2 important questions
I see a disconnect with SNG files, in that I use Karma scenes, and the GE use many instruments , esp drums. I would be surprised if the PCG mapping or file conversion translated Karma data to the ARP data in Nautilus The problem I see is that Kronos Karma can fire upon 4 channels, opposite to the ...

Looks like a really great keyboard at a great price, but going on thomann prices, for an extra €368 yo-yo’s you could have a have a KRONOS. Strange they are so close.....unless KORG is about to discontinue and replace the KRONOS? Just thinking out loud. Sharp. Your statement is valid IF you think it ...

Re: 1-2 important questions
Thanx for the info. what about SNG ? thanx No info about that SNG files yet. Please bear in mind that, at the moment, Kronos data is NOT compatible with Nautilus. It only works from Kronos (in) to Nautilus. However, it may be something that is developed in the future. This is a first hand ...
