As a first point of call, I would make sure you have installed the Korg Sv1 driver on to your laptop. When you look at the Sv1 editor program in your laptop it should be there with the editor and manual. Think it just says 'install driver' Editor doesn't work unless this is done first. Regards Wayne

Hi Drew,

Think you will have to play the midi track back to the sv1 whilst recording audio l/r out of the sv1 back into the daw. Sv1 doesn't transfer audio in anyway from its USB. That way you'll get a stereo audio track of exactly the sound you are using into the daw.

I think your going to run into problems using Velcro due to the curvature of the body of the Sv1. Amazingly a fix for this is to hold the keyboard with the keys facing towards the floor and give it a shake.
