Hi Any headphones will do really. Best will be one with a good bass response. I would recommend that you use Headphones (over the ears) and not ear plug types. I picked up a pair of studio headphones from my music store for about $50 and their fine. I also use a set of Sol Republics which have ...

If it is only occuring on your headphones - check the headphones on another device to make sure they are working. They may be the problem and not the wavedrum.

The search for perfection continues

I must admit that Korg are lacking in their response or listening to its customers. This forum has a range of talent and experience from gerneral users through to the highly technical and I have seen so many coments for improvements. The user interface especially and at least USB if not MIDI ...

portable amp

Great to see other options. I just purchased a roland Micro cube bass amp that I use for busking and traveling with my wavedrum and mini. It is battery powered and provides a pretty good base response for such a small unit and relatively cheap. It also has some buit in effects which are usefull As ...

As Wavedrummer said you will end up with a wide choice. As a start I would recommend a medium mallet and brushes. You can always flip the mallets and use the wood end and the medium seems to give a good reboud with softer textures As for sticks I have found that lighter ones are a good start because ...

Pressure sensor

Like your thinking Have a look at the thread on the Bodhran in this forum. It talks about adding a fishing line extension to the pressure sensor. This means you have the advantage of the pressure sensor still being in place and using your feet. I have yet to modify mine but will be doing so in the ...

Re amps

I went to the music store with my wavedrum and tried a whole range of amps and definately found that you need one with good bass. Guitar amps just did not do it. If you are buying from a shop ask them to let you try some amps. In relation to the mono vs stereo, I purchased a simple mixer with both ...
