Most of the progs and combi's are not setup by default to have the aftertouch and cc2 adjusted to be useful. Adjust the values on the controller page. For me increasing the amount of aftertouch for the amp and filter was just the beginning.

Using an EWI as an input controller I am able to play faster notes on the iM1 than any other iPad app. There seems to be no latency whatsoever and I am using the standard setting. Just amazing. I am however having trouble fine tuning the use of aftertouch in regards to the amplitude. The filter is ...

Re: my beautiful excel file

Hi guys, I started an excel file that has a somewhat user-friendly way of viewing program parameters--one page per program, organized similarly to the 4 editing buttons. Portions of it are quite beautiful imo--like my page of algorithm parameters (for copying into the detail pages). Portions of it ...

I had pre ordered the Wavedrum Oriental from Sweetwater when it was announced, but it was back ordered for almost 7 months before I got it. After I got it, I received a call from a Sweetwater salesperson asking if I was happy with it? He would call every 4-6 months to see how I was doing. That is ...

Actually the fact that the Global has a patch could be good news as you probably have the same elements to make the patch. If only someone who has a global could post the algo and settings etc.

Since it is not under any warranty now, you can open these up pretty easily without breaking anything. Check the power jack to see if it has a loose solder joint or if the PC board is discolored in some locations this could be a burnt component.
How good are your soldering skills?

Hey Quicksilver.
Ya know. Considering how poorly the various versions are selling, I highly doubt that there will be another. This is just my opinion though and do not know for sure.

Yep, 2 guitar cables in and 2 guitar cables out. Guitar amps have a limited frequency response so all you'll hear is midrange. A stereo mixer going into a stage monitor or P.A. speaker will work best. A keyboard amp is second best result. The Wavedrum has a very wide dynamic range. More than most ...

Oh no, the dreaded downsizing!
Well I wish you luck. It sounds like you got a lot of use out of it though.

Lately I've been showing up to practice and gigs with only a Roland HandSonic HPD-15, and my Wavedrum Oriental.

And, as I keep seeing on newer devices. a"randomize" function. This would be a nice addition... to the dream. :)
