It's fixed!
I took it apart but saw nothing obvious so I searched for a local Korg tech online and took it in. They were able to fix it, which I'm happy about. When I pick it up I'll find out what the happened and post it here in case anyone else has the same problem

Dead Wavedrum X. Any ideas?
I have a first generation Wavedrum X that's full of original patches. It won't turn on and is completely dead. I bought a new external power supply, hoping that was the problem, but no joy. Has anyone has this problem or, better yet, fixed it? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Simmons DA200S amp
I bought a Simmons DA200S on sale at Guitar Center for my Wavedrum. I recommend it highly. It has a 12 inch downfiring subwoofer that will rattle any room. 200 watts might not sound like a lot but these new amps are very efficient. The only downside is that it's heavy. It weighs in at 65 lbs.!

Simmons amp?
Has anyone heard or tried the Simmons DA200S that's sold by Guitar Center? I'm currently running the WD through a small PA with a Crown amp and Celestion speakers (which sound pretty darn good, btw) but I want something even more compact that will still pack a punch.
