None of the choices imply 'problem' as I see it. They describe behavior.#444 exactly- I never said problem- whether your kronos is quiet or loud is subjective- I just want to know how the speed of your fan is cycled or not- does it change speed? -when does it change? Does it change faster or slower ...

ok-I cant change or add poll questions after poll has started. I do not think the third option is bias though- normal has not been establisted- I believe "normal" is what the manufacturer intended it to be - and what users expect it to be. That would be unnoticeable. For me normal in my experience ...

My K88 does none of those choices. In fact, until I read on this forum that there was a problem, I never even knew there was a fan! Its silent, at startup, and always. The poll is biased since there's zero choice(s) for normal fan behavior. The "something else" poll choice implies "other problem ...

Fan speed during startup
Ok -I know there has been a long post about the fan before but I want to know if some fans cycle different than others. My first kronos went low-high-low during startup and was very quiet during operation. On my 2nd kronos 73 the fan goes from low to high during startup and stays high. What does ...

Wow - 3 months for a replacement? Korg should offer loaner units! I hope its not like the old joke with Jaguar cars - you need two of them, one for when the other's not in the shop. Joking aside, happy that you finally got your new, working unit. My sympathies for all the sleep you're about to lose ...

Months later and my replacement is here !! And the screen works! Now why was it I ordered the Kronos in the first place? Wow - 3 months for a replacement? Korg should offer loaner units! Korg support email me today and said its sounds like a hardware problem-and I should return it where purchased. Im sending it back and hopefully wont have to wait to long for a replacement. I would suggest calling MF to see if they can move you to the front of the order list (assuming they have one ...

Can you see anything on the screen if you shine a very bright light on it? Im half-tempted to open it up and look I wouldn't do that if I were you... I would be patient and call Korg up, especially since it's fresh under warranty. Dont worry, the stupid half of me is tempted- the smart half is old ...
