AND a HAPPY HOME it is, Brad! Thanks for a great keyboard, excellent shipping and great communication. I got the SV1 stand and hooked it up to a Roland Cube Lite Monitor. My daughter is playing it right now upstairs in our living room. It's so nice to have a "Piano" in the living space instead of ...

I bought a Roland Cube Lite MONITOR. Stereo, LOUD, 2:1 sound, sounds like bose, record to iOS and cheap at fullcompass.com ($125)

I'll use it for living room performances, small rehearsals and mainly for practice. It is louder than my two M-audio BX5as and sounds clearer, better!

I'm sorry, I just can't own a casio keyboard no matter how good they sound. Thanks, though.

I gave up on the SV1 last year, what a journey back!

Well, I sold my original 88 sv1 last april. I went through a roland stage, jupiter 50, juno di, and now jupiter 80. I sold the stage to get the jp50, sold the jp50 to get the jp80, gave the di to my daughter. missed the stage, bought another used one, decided the jp80 was still better and gave the ...

This is great, as I'm just learning (re-learning) synthesis and trying to create a few things. I hope an editor is available someday and more vendors offer specific sounds. I'll pay!

Hey thanks! That will also help me learn a little more synthesis along the way, even better! I'll let you know what I come up with!

I think it's in the MIDI control panel. You'll see a little red check box on that page that pertains to sustain.

Pretty sure that's what it's made for. And if I could spend all my time using it and learning it, well... it really wouldn't be a problem and I'd keep it. After that my only complaint is no ability to save "favorites" easily. I've resorted to keeping a note pad with the numbers and typing them into ...

How would I go about programming a Toy Piano sound?

I love those little toy pianos and have used them in recordings before but haven't had access to the real "toy" in many years. I keep hoping I'll find a keyboard that has that sound. I tried to make one with my Krome, but was wondering if it was possible on the King?

So far it's everything I've been lead to believe it is! Like having a room full of synths of all brands! Simple to learn it's basic interface but I can tell I can go deeper as I learn. I'm having trouble letting the Krome go for the things that it does so well. It's nice to sit and play and have ...

That's great to hear! I mainly got it for simplicity. I find often I want a sound that I hear in my head and just don't always know how to find it on the Krome. I may be getting rid of the Krome after I dive into this one!

my new-to-me KingKorg will be here this Thursday!

Not sure how much as been done to it by the previous owner, patch-wise, but thought I'd give it a go before doing a reset. I'm excited by all the posts and reviews about this keyboard. I can't afford to buy a room full of synthesizers so this will fill the need. In the 80s I was in several bands ...
