Ebony suede; the surface texture is similar to the stock head, and lasts much, much longer.

Yeah, that's just how it is. The relationship between the head and the pressure sensor makes for a pretty dead stick response. Follow the manual's instructions for tuning and calibrating the head to make sure you're getting optimal response, but it'll *never* feel like an acoustic drum, because it's ...

Yeah, that's a thing that happens, but it's just the fiber coating on the actual mylar of the head that's coming off. The integrity of the head itself is uncompromised, but the lack of texture can affect some playing styles. Swapping out the stock head for a black suede one is pretty standard ...

Hah! It's a high-concept 'Krautrock band from a parallel universe' project. We couldn't figure out a way to characterize the music or the method any other way.

This is my improv guitar/bass/electronics trio. I'm playing stock patch 85 on an old school silver WD-X into the Grn5 preset on a KP3 . The backbeat loop is from a K-Pro.

The bassist is a very, very skilled instrumentalist.

This is my improv avant-noise ensemble... I'm using a Wavedrum silver, KO-1, K-Pro and KP-3.

I invite you to appreciate the super-human instrumental chops of the bassist.

Jack McQuade hasn't been associated with L&M in decades. The Long family still rules the roost though.

Also, what kinda loop? From the internal sounds, or from the external input? I've opened countless internally generated loop files in Audition and I don't think I've ever encountered one with a click transient that wasn't meant to be there. That said, if you're grabbing loops from external source ...

They'd have it running a custom linux distro in less time than that, and iOS 2 days later.

Yanno, when you compare how accommodating Korg is in providing circuit board access to the analog Monotron/Monotribe line to how intransigent they are concerning the inner workings of their digital products it's enough to make your head spin. The analog circuitry is common lore... Korg's managed to ...

Meanwhile, over in the Wavedrum forum there's been some *stellar* work done in terms of accessing and modifying internal data. Not at the point of redoing the OS, by any means, but definitely doing stuff Korg never intended.

Some pretty slick hardware mods happening too.

I enabled the analysis pack in Excel 2K7. There was no automagical replacement of #NAME with an actual value, so I'm assuming there's some form of user action required to facilitate this.

I know nothing of high level Excel.
