Create and arrange full drum track with breaks and fills
I have been trying to find a tutorial online for creating and arranging a full drum track with all the breaks and fills and different parts for a song. I cannot find anything other than for Pro Logic, Garage Band and things like that. Is there someone on here that would work with me to learn how to ...

Thank you and I'm so sorry....
I got so frustrated trying to find information on learning the Triton's sound design parameters etc. that after posting this original post I drifted away until recently when I got motivated to try to find information again... :) When I saw all these responses I got inspired again. I'm sorry for not ...

Saving a Seq/song as a .wav or .mp3 file on a USB thumb driv
I found a post about this but the procedure they show does not work. The worst part is that I have done this before a few years ago, but I don't remember how I did it... I have some mp3s of my songs too but I think I converted the .wav file to an mp3 on my computer. I have searched the physical ...

Correct / fix the timing of RPPR part after it's recorded
I recorded an RPPR drum part and want to fix the timing as it seems a little off. I thought there was a way to do this after you have recorded something as well as setting the quantize before you start recording. I cannot find how to correct the timing after it is recorded. Can someone please help ...

Creating & recording drum parts for entire song?
There are several ways to create the drum parts for a song like using the arpeggiator, RPPR, using an existing pattern or importing one from a MIDI file I believe. Please correct me on this if this isn't right. Are there more ways than this? I want to start recording songs on the Triton Extreme or ...

Is patch programming on Kronos & Triton the same?
Is patch programming on the Kronos pretty much the same as it is for the Triton and Triton Extreme? Or maybe I should state that the other way around... I read something that suggested that the way you program patches on the Kronos is almost the same as it is on the Triton. Obviously there would be ...

Creating Frankenstein...
I have been attempting to get the descending lfo modulated pitch synth part in the middle of Edgar Winter's Frankenstein on the Triton Extreme. I can get something that has the basic sound of the LFO modulating the filter for that "monster cricket" type sound. I had the pitch eg set to make it start ...

Thanks everyone for the posts!
Thanks to everyone for posting here. Every little bit helps... I have been reading that SOS 100 + part series on Synth Secrets and I also am auditing a course on creating synth sounds at Berklee. So far it's not quite what I was expecting because they are not really getting into actual synth ...

Thanks....
Thanks Sander ! Hmmm....I thought subtractive synthesis was like the DX7 were you start off with like all sound and then subtract off what you don't want, more or less revealing the sound. What I saw today with the Triton looked like you start off with a basic waveform like a sine wave and built the ...

Long descending pitch like in Edgar Winter's Frankenstein
Are you familiar with Edgar Winters old song Frankenstein? I eventually want to create this descending pitch synth sound he uses at the beginning. Ooops...it is not at the beginning it is in the middle of the song about 3:16 . I'm assuming you have do something with the pitch envelope? Ja? Nein? So ...

Thanks for the replies
I have wanted to learn the Triton programming the longest. Today I stumbled on an old post by Daz who is no longer on the forums. I think I leaned more today than I have ever so far. He walked you through some basic design steps with some simple wave forms. Yeah I know with all the technical ...

Becoming a Master Triton Sound designer
There are people that are experts in sound design and those who are doing this as experts with the Korg Triton. Most likely these rare birds work for Korg. Why did they make learning this so encryptic? We spent a lot of money on the Triton and other keyboards but we get manuals that are worthless ...
