I did start work on printing out the soundbanks, but only got as far as the names.

It looks like a lot of work to reverse engineer the full file format.
If anyone has succeeded I'd see if I could enhance the printout.

Thanks for the comment. I've found what my problem was. I was holding down the key for the desired transposition too long, and the SV-1 simply turned off the transposition LED (before I had released the key). When I pressed the transposition button again it returned to my previous setting, not the ...

Just noticed I have this problem too. Nearly drove me mad until I found this topic. It's still pretty distracting to have wrong variation come up on the LEDs. SV-1 73, SP2, OS1.2

Surely this sort of problem should be fixed in an update or something?

I'm struggling with this myself. SV-1 77, SP2, latest OS. Following the manual page 26 I can set an initial transposition which I can turn on and off easily with the transpose button. But I can't seem to be able set a new transposition after that. It just seems to remember the first setting I made ...

Me, too! I have Windows 7, 64bit home premium. At step 4 a driver was loaded on my PC and a G:\drive appeared without the KORG USER name.
