Once I get my Pa5X back from repair (due to failed LEDs and the black spots on the buttons) I will do some blind tests using the internal record function and recording through a high-end Audio Interface.

So, resampling a drumkit from another keyboard model or plugin and selling them is okay?

The portamento on the whole Pa series is an embarassment.

Anthony - thank you for creating the 4X resources for 5X. Very useful and saved me a lot of time. I assume this was done by creating a SET on the 4X and running it through the converter on the 5X. So, to be sure I understand you correctly, the only way to get legacy styles, i.e. pre 4X to work ...

Apply the SET naming scheme of the Pa4X to your Pa3x SET, i.e. rename the folders inside the Pa3X SET, and use the convert function in your Pa5X. It worked for me.

So can someone please explain how to create a Round Robin sample using the PA5X? MEANING landing 4 samples and layering them in one RR Drum sample to be used in a drum kit. That is a normal behaviour. The clock of the keyboard is not 100% the same and not 100% in sync with the DAW. I had and still have this 'issue' for every flagship Korg Pa Model on different PCs, OSes, DAWs, Audio Interfaces etc. Correct me if I am wrong: the BPM of your DAW is send as a periodic ...
