I remember how exciting the Kronos announcement was. There was also the tsunami in Japan around that time which seemed to have delayed the arrival of the Kronos in the US. I still have my original pair of Kronos 61s and use them all of the time.

I rely on hundreds of megabytes of custom samples supporting 3 bands and have never seen this.

This just happened to me suddenly with the same USB stick I've been using for about a year. It freezes both of my original Kronos 61s consistently. I ended up getting a new USB stick.

You really need a guitar player with an actual talkbox to do the Bon Jovi song (or Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion", or Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way". Seriously, this is one of the few "sounds" you cannot adequately cover with samples on a keyboard. Actually from what I've seen they sound remarkably ...

Hi there Narf, I'm just curious: how do you manage to sample a specific sound like that, while eliminating all other sounds in that passage of the song? If you sample the talkbox, surely the sample will also be punctuated by the drums, and coloured by synth and bass sounds etc. Do you even start ...
