For the editor/computer connection to the Kronos, what USB types work? 1, 2, or 3?

Also, would a 15 foot length work fine or would it be too long?

Can someone point me how to use a microphone with the Kronos. I was able to use the microphone and can could hear it through my speakers but did not understand how to assign effects to the microphone input live so I can add different effects to change the voice sound.

Do I get the balanced or unbalanced?

I got the above mic for Christmas and want to make sure that it will work well with the Kronus. The first problem seems to be it has USB and XLR connections but I think I need 1/4" male end to go into the Kronus.

I bought the Shure 840 and they are really good, so the 940's would even be better. I have powered KRK5 speakers also, but headphones sound better, but sometimes I use the speakers as "live sound" is a different experience.

I had a keyboard issue and Korg had me send the keyboard back to them. I have not heard from them since that time. How long does it take for repairs and when they do warranty work, do they usually correspond with you, updating you on the progress?

1. What does the memory upgrade do for the average user?

My Kronos 88 is in the shop getting the keybed replaced ( I had an early Kronos #116). My question is, what is the cost for the upgrade to make it a Kronos 88x and what are the benefits to me?

No I contacted support a week ago, before I saw your advice.

I called support and they asked a bunch of questions. My keyboard has always made the noise and I have never moved the keyboard anddon't lean against it. They told me to contact my local repair center. They told me to bring it in and they will diagnose it. That will happen soon.

Do we know what the cost is to upgrade the Kronos at a authorized service center yet? If so, what are the upgrades and what is the cost of each upgrade?
