Great plan! Thanks for the excellent tip...

BTW, what is the 4th sound that loads? I have the latest version update and 256 exp card and only three load up when powering the unit on??

Thanks again!

I can appreciate you wanting to 'vent' and your opinion is just that, an opinion. Sorry to hear you're not enjoying it as much as the older model you had but I must say, I spent a lot of time listening to and playing with both the Yamaha XS6/8 and the Roland G7 on the same monitors, in the same room ...

Congrats on the new board. It truly is awesome! The only question I can answer for you is the first one since I've only had mine a couple of weeks too. I just popped my memory expansion module in the other day and I have to agree with some other people on here: get the Radias first. The only thing ...

Congrats Apex! I was hoping this would turn out good for you. Figured you had at least the Paypal protection on the deal so it couldn't have been too bad. Deals like this can happen from time to time and I'm glad you lucked into this one! Personally, I looked on eBay and stuff for a couple of weeks ...

Yeah, I was kind of wondering the same thing. Is it possible to record guitar through the 'line in' to the sequencer? Haven't looked in the manual yet, but I'm sure the answer is somewhere in there

Randelph, I certainly won't be gigging with the board as I'm not nearly good enough to even consider that! I've looked at those Nords for a few years now and they look REALLY tempting...but the price is a bit steep for me and it lacks some of the features I crave (like strings and brass). If and ...

All good points made here (as usual on this forum!) and a lot to consider. Sina, I'm not really a piano 'player'. It was the first instrument I learned on and played from about ages 5-10, but I've played guitar ever since then without so much as hardly touching a piano except maybe a couple times a ...

Just took delivery on the M3 73!

Been playing with it for a bit now and as much as I love it, I'm almost regretting not going with the 88 key version. I played the 88 at the local shop and fell in love with the weighted keys. Went back and played the 61 to see if I could do the synth action and decided it would be more than ...

Not really the same thing, but I use a Fender Hpt Rod Deluxe tube amp for one channel of my keyboard in my studio for a left/right stereo setup. I don't think you would be able to use it live unless you turned the bass level down, but at moderate levels it sounds incredible! I output the other ...

Thanks again guys! Just got my tracking number so it should arrive next Tuesday or so! Can't wait to dig into this baby and will definitely be taking the manual to work so I can read it over and over since there seems to be a fairly large learning curve (especially for a guitar player/drummer like ...

Sounds like I should consider the Radias card too, huh? So even though I'll be doing mostly acoustic sounds you guys still think it's a good consideration and add on??

Thanks for the quick reply and good input Rob. Sounds like I would definitely be interested in the 256 since I'll mostly be working with pianos, EP's, organs, brass, strings, etc...

Just ordered one off the Korg site since they seem pretty hard to come by otherwise!

Just ordered my M3 73 yesterday!! So what's next....?

Thanks to you guys for helping me decided to go ahead with the M3. I had it narrowed down to this and the Yamaha XS6. I liked the feel of the keys on the XS6 and the sounds were nice, but the touchscreen and additional features of the Korg sold me. If you may recall from my earlier post, I was a bit ...

I can relate here. I'm not a keyboard player (guitar, bass, and drums) but want something to add sounds to music. I have similar taste in music too (ie: older 60s/70s rock and alternative/indie music) so I'd just want the M3 for for 'filler' sounds.
