I must have said it wrong!
When you pick a template, it takes you to a dialog box that lets you pick the template to load. There is a box that needs to be checked if you want the drum pattern to load with the template. If you check the box to include the drum pattern another box comes up which lets you choose a drum pattern ...

How do I audition different drum patterns in sequencer mode?
Ok..so I go to sequence mode....then I hit the dropdown menue to load a template....good so far!....I choose to copy the drum pattern onto track one....good so far!...it copies the pattern from measure 1>8.....now for measure 9 through 16 I want some other pattern.... there is a drop down for it but ...

Here is what I just emailed to Korg....
Please make this. A workstation for writers. Like kronos but easy. As for sounds just the basics Bass, guitar, piano electric piano, organ ,strings,horns, pads and drums. Give us 20 of each..that's it! Make it so writing is easy! sequence in sections like a drum machine..intro, verses ,chorus etc ...

Is there a keyboard that will give me all of the effects ?
I tried the mox and motif xs and now I am sitting here with Kronos. Is there a keyboard anywhere that when I am sequencing that will give me all of the programs effects for each track without begging or swapping or having to do without this or that? When I hear a sound that I like or ten sounds that ...

korg microstation and 32 bit computers...
I just bought the microstation and I loaded everything but I cant get Sonar 8 to see the microstation. I can see the editor alone but not inside of Sonar and I cant see the standalone at all.
any thoughts on this...Ps...what a sound!!!!

Gimmie some examples I can look for

Triton Extreme vs M3
I was really upset when I went to GC in Houston to try an M3 and didn't find the sounds to be necessarily better than the extreme. What am I missing? Someone wants to buy my extreme and I thought I would move up and get an M3 but It didn't wow me at all. I also felt the action was wimpy.
