By MIDI driven sound, does this mean an external MIDI source, or using the internal Sequencer? It could be that the MIDI data stream is too "dense" and complex for the Triton to fully respond, leading to the lock-up. One thing worth trying is to reload the Combi (thought there isn't a Combi ...

Triton crashes when on one patch

When I load one combi patch N56 and play something which includes midi driven sound, the whole keyboard stops playing and locks on that patch. I have to shut off the keyboard in order to get it working again. Any suggestions?

Replacing the battery

My battery is low and needs replacement. I'm wondering if I lose all the memory when doing that? Does it reset to factory specs? Thanks for the help.

How to audition new pcg sounds

Is there someway of auditioning new sounds that are pcg files without having to load them into the triton and then playing them.

Thank you

The answer was pretty simple and typically it was a user issue. I "backed up" my triton but had "CF card" has the destination rather than the usb I had plugged in. Once I changed the destination, it worked and now I have opened my backup in PCG tools. Very cool program btw. Thank you.

Computer can't see pcg files on usb

I have backed up my Extreme onto a usb stick and the triton recognizes the files when I put it back in and check but my computer doesn't see any files on the same usb. So I can't start working with PCG Tools because I can't get the data into that program on my computer. Any suggestions on how to get ...

How to program repeated notes

I am playing a tune with endless repeated 16th note two note chords and rather than bashing for 5 minutes, is there a way to program the arpeggiator to play the notes in 16ths while the chord is held down. And then stay in time, (rather than restarting the pattern) when the chord is changed. So it's ...

Broken Prog button

Korg no longer manufactures the panel of the 8 buttons/slider/2 buttons just to left of the screen. I broke the Prog button (although it's actually still working). And suggestions on getting a replacement. I gather gluing the button back together is a poor temp solution.
Thanks

Recommendations for electric guitar and lead synth sounds

Have a moss board. Can live without the 50 million acoustic guitar sounds I have and would rather have a variety of electric guitar sounds and hoping for some reco's for great mini/arp/lead synth sounds. Thanks for the help.

Expression Pedal woes

I use an XVP 10 with my extreme exclusively for volume. It's set to master volume under Global. I find though, that after each patch change the volume goes up to full. And I have to move the pedal to adjust the volume so as not to blow at full. It means another step (literally and figuratively) when ...

I had a problem getting any expression pedal to work on my Extreme. I ended up coughing up the $150 for the xvp 10. It's heavy and does't float around on stage - yay! But I did find that after trying all different types of pedals and then finding that one must use a stereo cable with the pedal, and ...

Spoke too soon. It's already starting having ptich issues and run on sounds. I think that there is either a prob with the moss board or my TE just doesn't like this one. Think I'm gonna just pull it out. Too bad. It's got some wicked sounds. oh well.

It's working

I made another copy of all the sounds and combi etc and then reinitialzed it but didn't remove/reinstall the moss. I just left it there. And now - it works. I can build/edit sounds and combi and there's no weird pitch issues anymore either. Oddly, alot of the patches that I had adjusted once I put ...

I don't know if there is an initialization routine. It's the EXB-MOSS NS ON the box it says it's the same moss featured on the Trinity V3. And a sticker on the side says it's for the Triton, Pro and Rack as well as KARMA.
