I have PX5D and I think, noise is reasonable low. I can record a test sample for you but give me some clues about effects settings to get useful info. The noise is apparent on practically every setting. I have tried every setting, and still get this annoying noise rush-up after every note or chord ...

Get used to it. I have the same problem, and have tried everything - still noise rushup after notes. Renders this unit worthless to use live. I tried a Y cable - no help. Tried with just batteries - no help. I'm still getting a noise rush-up after each note, sounds similar to a compressor rush-up. Very frustrating! I would really like to use this unit live, but this noise is just too noticeable. Anyone have any suggestions? I never got an ...
