Hahaha, that's too true. As a fairly large synth noob myself, I'm on the forum a lot. However, I've got to admit that seeing the same question asked over and over again is rather obnoxious, especially when trying to search for a specific answer. Although these duplicates really do need to be ...

Hahaha, that site could be useful some day...

And the R3 is a great beginner synth, with a ton of features, a great sound engine derived from the Radias...and a keyboard.

Can't remember if this functionality if available in the R3? Sadly, it is not. I had noticed this issue previously, and it seems the only real solution is to pull up the editor and change the value. Also, you could connect your equipment via MIDI, and set the R3 to use external MIDI Clock? Or ...

I'd probably suggest contacting Korg support. Maybe there's a relatively cheap fix that a service center can provide... [-o<

And I know, those bright colors are awesome, right? (I got the red one.)

Hmmm....That's really strange. :? I looked through the rest of global settings and didn't see anything else that looked related. I've gotta say that I think it might be a hardware problem though because you restored to factory settings, and mine certainly didn't do that when it came from the factory ...

In advance, if the notes ARE playing the same chords as the chord trigger buttons, those notes have been programmed in global mode to trigger the chord buttons. So go to global mode->page select->P2: Controllers->2nd Tab CC Assign->Under "Chord Trigger Switches," set all 4 SW's to OFF Hopefully that ...

Is it happening on all of your programs/combis or just 1?

Also, are the notes playing the same chords as the chord trigger buttons?

For less money, you can get a top of the line MIDI controller with a ribbon, aftertouch, and/or semi-weighted or weighted keys.
Plus WAY more programmable knobs/sliders, and probably velocity sensitive drum pads.

You should never be receiving a shock when touching your keyboard, never. Agreed, definitely. xmlguy, you seem to know what you're talking about way more than I do. I think the OP should definitely take your/mocando's advice and call an electrician ASAP. This seems like a great danger, and ...

Kinda coming into this a little late, sorry. But anyways, here's my two cents. I would agree that the source of power might be an issue, however the electric shock makes me think otherwise. Rishat wrote that he was being shocked by a non-220 volt current suspiciously close to the power input ...

Haha, Good advice Sharp!

I made the mistake of going in empty handed. I came out days later bearded, emaciated, and really confused (I'd left the manual in another room. )

Enjoy your new board nuffStress and welcome to the M50 forum!
