Can R3 sample sounds? Then be used as vocoder?
Hello,
Having some troubles sampling sounds on the R3. I know it's got the format motion setting but can I input a sound and then save it so that the sound is playable using the keys in different notes afterwards and can that sound then be used as a vocoder?
Sorry for the rookie questions

Vocoder without pressing keys. Microkorg can, why not R3?
Hello, I'm trying to recreate what I used to do in my microkorg with the korg r3. I used to put in external inputs and then run them through a vocoder patch to get some cool effects. I can't seem to get the r3 to cooperate, when I input sounds using the two inout lines on the back (yes I have the ...

Examine the patch. Look at the noise level. Do you know how to program your synth? Maybe the patches you uploaded are screwed up. Yes I do know how to program my synth also all the settings remain the same, only the sound is different. And i uploaded the sounds from many different sound libraries ...

It's digital, therefore the sounds should never change or degrade, ever, not even a little bit. (Unless it was indeed faulty). Can you give more information? In what way does it degrade or sound different? Are you listening under the same conditions? (same speakers/headphones, signal path, volume ...

Do your sounds degrade on your r3 after a while?
Ever since i got my r2 a year and a bit ago, if I upload a sound onto it via USB, the sound degrades after a month or two and sounds static like. Did they sell me a faulty one or is this natural?

Copying a sound into 1 timber of split mode?
Is it possible to set a sound to "split mode" and then copy a very basic sound from the r3 to only occupy one timber?
as in having the original sound on one side, then transferring another sound to occupy the other side

Malfunction, Need Help
Hey guys,
So my R3 is acting up and the max number it will go to is 124 instead of 127. Also if a setting from a sound is already at 127, i cant bring that setting down at all because my knob wont reach that number to be able to bring it back......any suggestions?

The panpipe sound might be possible, but I doubt you'll get a 'female aaah' sound. The R3 is a fairly complex and powerful synthesizer, but typically those kinds of detailed articulate choirs can only come from a sampler/rompler. The default choir and ensemble sounds are based on the voice formant ...

Tips on making good choir ensemble and pan pipe flute sounds
Hello, Ive found that all the possible default choir esemble sounds that come on the R3 or any of the R3 libraries are quite horrible, i want a smooth female sounding "aaaah" sound. Im also looking to make a pan pipe flute sound. Any suggestions? my attempts havent been fruitless but they dont sound ...
