The issue with the alpha/data wheel is getting worser. I think I need a replace. Does somebody here have already any experience with such a kind of repair. What costs do I have to expect when I let this check at a Korg service center? Or is it easy to replace the data wheel (the potmeter inside) by ...

Problems with data wheel

Hi everybody, my Extreme is celebrating its fifth birthday (approx.). So far, the "old lady" has never let me down. Anyhow, it seems like the data wheel is beginning to start an own life. If you scroll the wheel, the value often jumps up and down. The issue seems to get better if the wheel is used ...

You should install the latest patch (I think it's 7.0.2). The problem you described was reported at the Sonar forums some time ago, and as far as I know this issue has been fixed in the latest update from Cakewalk.

Ah ... okay ... I figured it out myself. I just copied each disk into a directory on the CF card. If the content of the first disk is loaded and the TE reaches where point where the 2nd part of the sample file is missing a dialog is shown where you are requested to select the missing 2nd part of the ...

OK. Will try to reload the Sample and report back. While at loading samples, can someone point out how to combine samples split into 5 disks to Extreme (I want to get Xp-50 piano sound that 64 voice piano sample claims it is close to) I am fighting with the same problem. Any news on this? Regards ...

Yes ... that was my first thought, too. Hopefully, my local dealer has a second unit available.

Hi Nedim,

thanks for the reply! Just another question: Do you have to recalibrate your damper pedal each time you switch you Triton one?

Thanks,
Stephan

Hi again, just another question concerning the damper pedal. I've noticed that everytime I switch on my Triton Extreme, the damper is not working anymore. So, I have to calibrate the damper pedal in the Global mode every single time my Triton is switched on again. I already tried to save the global ...
