The issue as noted above occurred without the PB in the chain - it was false alarm.

I don't believe there will be a definitive conclusion here - sorry.

The fellow is bailing on the problematic pedal and using a different pedal without issue.

I think the most likely conclusion is the pedal wasn't functioning properly.

Working on it now. I figure the possibilities are: 1) Impedence mismatch somewhere 2) Faulty cable 3) Power supply 4) Pedal The power supply is a Pedal Power and batteries will eliminate that. Starting with only the boost to verify, then systematically adding to the chain until the failure is ...

This whole adventure is a false alarm - the problem happens with the PB out of the signal chain altogether.

If a mod would delete this thread please?

Pitchblack input impedance?

Putting a PB at the very end of the signal chain seems to be (for lack of a better term) cancelling out the boost of a treble boost just before the PB. With the PB at the head of the chain all works fine. I know the PB is supposed to be transparent when disengaged but how else do I explain this ...
