Looks great and it has aftertouch. I’d like a 73 or even 61 note version.

I’ve just read the parameter guide and he is correct. You can convert 16 pad samples to a program but you cannot map them across the keyboard, it is fixed. What a missed opportunity, wha are the chances of them adding that in an update? Here the excerpt: In the converted program, each sample will c ...

I read some of the manual this morning and it does state that you can convert samples from the pads into a multisample to be used in a program. But I didn’t read it in detail so I’m not sure what the restrictions are in terms of number of samples and how it is mapped.

Floppy drive emulators are just as slow as floppies. SCSI is much faster.

External controller support is something that Gadget is really lacking at the moment. You can't map midi cc's to any control. It doesn't even respond to pitch bend. I'm sure this will be corrected in an update.

Well I have to say I'm really impressed with the Korg Gadget. I own quite a lot of synths and modules but I don't have that much space and my two young kids mean I don't get much time to play. That's why something like this is ideal for my because I can pick it up when I have a spare 10 minutes and ...

You need the SCSI expansion and a SCSI drive really. Floppys aren't very good for load a lot of samples.

I'm really surprised how much Tritons are still worth.

I was watching this auction because apart from the exbs (I have Dance Extreme and Vintage Archives) it is the same as mine. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170428138943 Is this the going price, or did the seller just get really lucky? I know it has the full sample ram, moss and ...

Chickensys Translator might help. I don't know if you can audition samples in there, but there's a free version that you can try out.

I and if you're serious about sampling you really need a SCSI card :)

It depends what type of connector the SCSI storage device has. I have a SCSI CD-ROM that has a 50 pin socket so I had to buy a 25 to 50 pin cable. There's also 60 pin varieties It hink as well as the 25 pin that's on the EXB-SCSI.

Well first of all this is definitely possible! I started out doing exactly the same thing in the late 80's with an Atari ST running cubase! It looks like from your screen shots that you have the Midi tracks in Cakewalk set to Omni mode. This is wrong. It means that each track is transmitted on all ...
