SRC ... a full scale sample can cause distortion. Hi popman, Could you please point me to the source of this theory? I'm unaware of this - SRC should not cause distortion even to the largest signals when applied properly (surely not worse than digitisation itself). Dither will indeed cause ...

I can't tell for sure it is the same on the kronos as it is on most keyboards, but I assume it is the same.... The functionality to detect velocity is done by speed and not force. This means that there are two 'switches' per key. When you press a key the first switch will become released triggering ...

I'm actually missing something almost opposite. A way to lock the drums and drumtrack. Imagine finding some nice groovy drums with a cool drum track. Now you want to flip thru programs/combies to 'start the creative process'. This ain't gonna happen . As soon as you do this the drumming is ...

For too less channels: in our contract we stated we need at least a 24 channel mixing console to prevent such problems. For a single band channel count is usually not a problem unless it's a highly complicated setup. But for multiple bands where a quick change between bands is premium or when a ...

Tbh I can't see how this would really be a big issue. Professional synths have been stereo since the early eighties and have been using the summing L/Mono technique for just as long. I have never heard any live sound guy complain about hooking up both the left and right channels, no matter how ...

Damn, so all reverb chambers and mono reverbs are actually stereo :D 8)

Also, most IR's are processed as mono.

OK, one more time: how is the L/Mono output from the KRONOS generated? The manual says that this "gives you a mono summation of the stereo signal". If it's just the summed L/R outputs, from the same sources, with no additional internal signal processing, that means the KRONOS sounds have been very ...

I haven't seen a mono PA in years, I don't get how this would be "most PAs" by any stretch of the imagination. But I agree something still needs to be worked out for when you do encounter such a situation. My personal best option would just be to just run the Kronos mono from the L/Mono output in ...

He is asking if that specific dvd is working together with the kronos. The reason is that the bios erronously doesn't recognizes all dvd-drives on the kronos. This is fixed in a later bios release but this isn't installed by korg. I'm running the latest version of the bios w/o any problems on my ...

The ftp server should be up and running so you might be able to remove the offending library that way...
