Hello Jerry, My apologies for my tardiness, which I realise enters the realm of the ridiculous  . I've been chasing my tail this past while and it's only now that I'm beginning to get the odd breather again where I can do things like visit this fine forum. I really appreciate your response on ...

Hey Tweak, Good to see you here. I'm a regular visitor to your site, your articles are great. Hats off! Unfortunately I can't help you with your query, but I'll be very interested to know how you get on with this - I'll probably be heading the MOTU - Mac route with my own M3 in the near future; if I ...

Hi Hmann, I converted a medium-duty violin case (rectangular, not trapeziod!) for use as an M3M carry-case, which has done me great service as I'll always keep it as hand-luggage when traveling. I ripped out the interior molding and relined and foamed as necessary, which cost next to nothing - case ...

I used to be a fiend for running boards through guitar stompboxes, but this was with older machines which had little or nothing in the way of internal fx themselves - I'd regularly go on stage with an old Yamaha DX7 run through a string of Boss pedals; distortion, chorus, two DD3 delays fed back ...

Maybe the cable that connects the keybed (keys) to the M3 module is not well inserted. Sometimes shipping/transport get that cable off. Try to insert it again I agree. This does sound like it could be something mechanical or physical in nature. Nothing happened with your machine over the past while ...

I used to have a Korg Firewire card inside my M3 but the minimum latency I could achieve (on the same laptop computer) exceeded 60 ms and it was not acceptable. Funny that. Korg really seems to have fluffed this Firewire option, I've always been slightly bemused at that... they missed a golden ...

Re: Anybody from Korg listening?

Hi seckert, I guess it's all a question of what you're used to, and I very much understand your attachment to the 01/Wfd, it's a great board, and same as with yourself, it was my workhorse for many many happy years - it's still going in fact. But reluctantly I had to face up to the fact that it was ...

Yay! :) well done for picking up such a bargain. You've got balls of steel  , but that's rock n roll for you! You deserve your good luck. I've got a Radias card and a memory expansion on the way, so I'm sure that will just add to the fun. (not so sure about the Radias card or what it will bring ...
