That's probably what the problem is. The sounds originally used not being fully GM. Maybe what has happened is some of the sounds I used were not from the GM bank but in XG (extended banks) so they just don't match up. I guess I'll just have to fool around with this some more. At least I am on the ...

Thanks for the help Shike! I was able to get a midi file off the USB stick, although scanning the device didn't make it readable. I had to turn the power off and on again for the TE to "see" the USB stick. However, the sounds that the TE loaded into the sequencer from the MIDI file don't match the ...

Hmmm. I have read that on this forum as well about sustain pedals not being Korg brand. But that can't be it because one time it locked up and I didn't even have the sustain pedal plugged in! Also, it has never acted like this while in Combination or Program mode during performance at the club. And ...

Perhaps I should have elaborated in the original post. I didn't mean to indicate that the Triton played them improperly. What I meant to say was that this has been my general experience when loading GM files created on one device and loading them into another. I have not yet imported a MIDI file ...

RE: triton extreme pitch bender issue
Shouldn't hurt it at all. The pitch bender on my Triton Extreme was broken also (I got my Triton used) so until I fixed it all I had to do was go into Menu/Track Parameter/Pitch and turn the bend ranges to +00 (disabling them basically) and save the combinations (or sequences)
Hope this helps,
Greg

Panic button or "all notes off"
A couple times I have had to turn the power off and on again because of stuck notes and strange behavior. Once I was in the middle of previewing sounds while in sequencer mode and all of a sudden it acted like the sustain pedal was stuck. All I could do was power off and on to fix it. Another time I ...

Importing MIDI files into Triton Extreme Sequencer
Is there an easy way (hopefully) to import MIDI files/songs that were created on other sequencers/keyboards into the Triton Extreme sequencer so that they will playback properly or, at least, come close to it with a minimum amount of tweaking/programming? I have many MIDI sequences I have done in ...
