Pro keyboarders tend to change basic gear much less frequent than amateur keyboarders do. I often have been wondering, seeing skilled professionals use the same gear they used 5 years ago, or updated versions of that gear, while amateur keyboarders like me or semi-pros use newer gear. The reason is ...

If you're suggesting that offering incredibly sophisticated synth engines is some sort of deterrent (not sure I agree but I see where you're coming from) - then to me the issue is surely one of lack of commercially available, useful libraries for those engines, and not the existence of the synth ...

That's the disappointing thing for me. With so many incredible sounds available in digital keyboards today, so many keyboardists only want to play a handful of traditional sounds from the 70s. But then that's one of the main reasons for Nord's success. The blues is not dead for exemple.. You don't ...

This statement is indeed very "subjective" and objective it is of course completely irrational and without any factual base, because both, the Kronos and the Nords produce sounds which are based on real-time processed algorithms. It's completely irrelevant if you use a CPU or DSP Chips to process ...

If I'm not mistaken, the Kurzweil PC3K8 is also made in China. How would you rate the construction and reliability of the PCK38 compared to the Nord? _________________ Yes,good question: The kurz metal case is better for me,wood side are not plastic side, command and buttons are better.. And i ...

So Kanout and others, please stop your non-sense. You're now sounding like a broken record. We heard you, but we disagree with your opinion. So buy a Roland, buy a Yamaha, buy a Nord... whatever makes you happy, and spend some time exhorting the virtues of your choice instead of trying to convince ...

Well, there's a moment when you read all that, and when you had bad experience with korg, you stop thinking about"how many safe kronos",how many bad kronos"...etc etc You put korg on the your black list, and even if you consider all the good points of the kronos you leave this company. In fact today ...

If you think piano sound, you have to consider NORD KEYBOARDS too.

The kronos ssd streaming don't mean natyrally they have the best piano.
I don't think a roland RD700 nx or a yamaha CP1 are inferior piano.
