Not everyone uses aftertouch and that's why it shouldn't have been there from the beginning. That adds to the cost and would discourage many from buying it. Having two versions is a good idea.

It is interesting that this noise is constant and unrelated to anything. I tried the volume, balance, preamp gain, switched line / mic / guitar, turned off the master effects, factory reset, and it has nothing to do with anything. And yes, you can hear it on the speakers, I just didn't pay attention ...

Um ... so far I haven't had any problems with electricity in the apartment and I have a bunch of audio equipment. The sound is like white noise, more like a cheap Chinese preamp than electricity.

What batteries? I didn't even know that the pa700 could run on batteries. Now I checked, this mine has no battery anywhere. Even the manual does not say that it can run on batteries.
