I wonder if my RAM could be bad? No, that doesn't make sense - otherwise I couldn't reload my custom sounds. After I posted last night, I did try to reload them in the same order I loaded my custom sounds, PCS first, and got the same results. I was sure that I later tried loading the PCG first, but ...

Loading the sounds

I'm not sure what I'm missing here. I'm into my second week with my TR. I read both the OG and the PG on loading sounds, but when I load the Steinway sounds from this thread, I get some strange results. I started with the stwakai.ksc file, and I checked the stwakai.pcg file and at the bottom it says ...

Nevermind - I checked the continuity with a ohm-meter last night, and my Korg pedal is not making contact either in the full up or full down position. Have to find where the problem is. I do not have the DS1H pedal that utilizes half-damper position. It's an old pedal. Thanks though!

Thanks sds and daz! I appreciate your welcome and the input. It's pretty easy for me to get lost inside my little box. I haven't made it to korgparts.com but I'll take a trip soon. I've got a couple of musician kids in their 20s that could still put the O1/W to good use.

Thanks guys!

I tried those, Springfield, Memphis, and one around Nashville. I wasn't exhaustive, but I had to do it on work breaks. I'll keep in and see what happens. Most simply didn't repair O1/Ws anymore and suggested buying a newer model. Thanks though! If anyone near Arkansas is capable, I'd be happy to let ...

Hello from Deepest Arkansas. O1/W > TR61

Hello! My Korg O1/W recently died and I couldn't find a technician willing to repair it. So... Now I'm a happy TR61 owner! The guitar is my main instrument, but I also love the keyboards. I'm grateful for the wealth of information here! Maybe should have looked her more BEFORE I gave up on my O1/W ...

Korg Damper Pedal Not Working on TR61

It's not the DS-1H. It's one I used with my old O1/W, but my Roland pedal works when I change it's polarity to "+". I've tried changing the pollarity on the Korg pedal, but with no change. Are the conductors on the plug different on the DS-1H? Why would a different brand work?

Thanks!
