M1 Sysex Import

I'm trying to import a sysex file to the M1 VST. This file is in sysex format and I used it on my M1 hardware previously, so I feel like it's formatted correctly. I know the procedure to import but when I click file-import-all data and navigate to the folder with the sysex it's grayed out so I ...

I might be too late to help but I made a video that walks through restoring factory patches using sysex. Thanks!

Hi guys. Sorry I failed to keep this thread updated. We finally put the finishing touches on the Polysix in November. It was a long process for sure, but very rewarding. Here it is:

I have the opsix (and LOVE it). Manual says 32 or a max of 24 depending on the settings. I’m not sure how to interpret that exactly but I’ll say that I’ve never run out of voices in my work with the opsix. That’s probably not the response you wanted but it’s been my experience with the opsix. I highl ...

Its footprint is almost identical to the Moog Grandmother. I have the Moog case made specifically for the GM and intend to use it for the opsix as needed. It's pricey but a fantastic case!

End Cap?

I have a Trinity (61 key) whose right end cap was cracked during shipping and I would love to find a replacement. Anyone out there have a right end cap they want to sell?

Thank you for the follow up! I've been gathering the needed parts to be able to assemble the keyboard, which we finally did last night. I bought a walnut case online because mine didn't include a case. So now the externals are pretty much there. We found out that the transformer is bad, so right off ...

Sorry I hadn't seen this post earlier. Where are you at in the process now? I'm in the same boat with a Polysix I bought as basically a box of parts. Interested to hear about your progress...

707 sysex

Hello. I'm trying to do a factory restore on a KORG 707. I reached out to KORG's tech support and they told me to ask here. Crazy. Anyway, does anyone have the factory sysex they would be willing to send me? Thanks!

minikorg 700 switch

I'm looking for the five position mode selector switch for a minikorg 700 (original issue) and wondered if anyone might have one to sell. The switch I have is working but the barrel broke off. I'm also open to any suggestions on a repair of the barrel. Thanks!

Re: X3internal battery

Hi, can I change the internal CR2032 battery on my x3 without losing sounds etc if I have the power on while I do it? I still have the display working etc, but bought the synth new around 1995 and have never changed the battery. Could this be a reason I am getting no sound at the outputs or ...

Hello! Did you get this fixed? If not I was wondering about having you check the "local control" option. Make sure it's turned on. If it's set to off then the keyboard won't function as normally expected but you can still trigger sounds via external MIDI devices as you reported. If you don't have a ...

https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/0/85/ That will take you to the Korg page where you can get the bonus libraries. The page is for the Krome and not the Krome EX but it still works in the EX. Instructions are found there also. But if you have any problems just post back here and I’ll b ...

M1 and Triton

I have both bonus banks for my Krome EX and would like to load both into the Krome at the same time. Obviously if I load one it overwrites the other. Any tips on loading both in and keeping them? Thanks!
