Midi is dead straightforward.

Midi IN on Model D to Midi Out on kronos.

As long as channels match - it will play notes.

Try in COMBI mode as it will trigger notes on ANY channel.

If it doesnt then its probably either your Midi lead is faulty or some setting on Kronos that is preventing this.

When ive connected Model D to Kronos only thing ive noticed is that when in COMBI mode set to EXT is doesnt matter what MIDI channel its set to - it will play the Model D ! Zone limits dont seem to matter either-it plays all notes so that means no Model D/ Kronos Splits. However, in SEQ mode the ...

Im thinking of replacing my Krome with a Kronos- however im unsure if KARMA can do more than the 48 steps on the krome's arpeggiator ?

I need 4 bars or 64 steps -krome only does 48 steps or 3 bars.

Im using this in a live situation.

Any help/ideas ?

I use Camelot Pro with my Ipad to change COMBIs whilst playing live.
It’s superb as I can change all my keyboard sounds with 1 button press- especially when I have COMBIs all over the place.
It takes a bit of work to set up- but it’s been a lifesaver for me.

I have the korg exp-2 pedal . I couldn’t get it to work at first either but as it’s an old pedal I assumed it was broke- then amazingly it worked ? I can’t get it to “un” work so I’m not sure wether it’s the lead or me .

You are using a TRS jack cable ?

Seems a bit lame that the KROSS can do sounds better than the KROME.......

I know it might be a daft question, but does anyone know uf the current electribe sampler accepts midi program changes via USB ? I know it will do this via MIDI.

Is it correct that in song mode on the volca sample you can only assign patterns (parts) to 16 steps to make a song- does this mean the the volca sample can only play a song which is 16 bars long ?? i dont know many songs that last 16 bars lol.
