I don't have much help except to ask where exactly the noise is coming from. Is it coming from the part of the power supply you plug into the wall or is it coming from the volca itself, and if from the volca, are you hearing it through the speaker/headphone jack or does it seem to come from ...

Probably over-voltage or shorting something from trying to load samples from so many device and cable combinations. Even when it did work, it was ridiculously sensitive to levels. I refuse to spend much more time with it, since it's a stupid way to load samples in any year >2000 and obviously only ...

It is a legit issue. Tinkerers have reported (myself included), that re-situating the wires to the display can decrease noise floor. It's either those wires or some other wires that are sometimes too close to the display. Display is creating audio interference.

Sounds like Lo-Z output to Lo-Z output. Not much voltage but current may have flowed. Do you have someone with electronics experience to look at it? I modded my FM to have midi out but should have taken note to see if the volca's have a separate output amp, which would make it more easily repairable ...

1.0.3 is bugged up when you try to mod operator output with sample and hold, or pretty much any other waveform that changes abruptly (bad noise and/or clicks). Hopefully 1.0.4 fixes this and they release it to web soon.
