Use it for its strengths rather than its weaknesses, and you'll find yourself one happy camper. Oh, I will. I'm excited to have it! I don't want you to think I was disappointed, quite the contrary. I ordered my 2 TB SSD, and can't wait to use the sampling and sequencer. My other comments have to do ...

I’m kind of surprised to hear the MS-20EX is challenging to learn for someone who owns an MS-20. I know it has some added functionality with AMS but the basic operation is the same isn’t it?

Just curious what’s giving you the most trouble...

If you’re looking for something in hardware form, I’ve really been enjoying the Akai Force. For me it’s a very good complement to Kronos. The sequencer in it is equally powerful, I’d say, but a lot more modern with piano roll view, step sequencer capabilities, fully automatable, plus clips, scenes an ...

Karma is awesome (truly) but there are maybe some simpler ways to do what you’re trying to do with the Kronos. For example you could create a wave sequence for this kind of application. That allows up to 64 steps. But really it can be more than the 64 steps of a traditional step sequencer because e ...

There is so far inside the Oasis/Kronos/Nautilus: FM type synthesis Analog or at least analog emulator Digital waveforms, like PCM Some piano emulators and organ emulator String emulator Some vintage gear emulator - Polysix and MS20 Sampling capability ...

You aren’t missing anything. I already put this request in our “top 50 enhancements” thread. I think it would be super useful too.

It is, genuinely, a real pity that it does not support Karma. Karma needs a second life - it's arguably the most 'gargantuan' MIDI rhythm engine ever designed, with _endless_ capabilities, and it would be wonderful to see Karma get a second life at its spiritual home of Korg. Let's hope Stephen Kay ...

After watching the loopop video I’m not seeing much of anything to make me jealous as a Kronos owner. The thing that popped most for me is that I think I’d have either invested in a more responsive touch screen for this, or at least not removed the value slider. There were probably at least a dozen t ...

I’d like a green one please, to remind me of all the USD I have in the Kronos. :D In all seriousness though, I really liked the demos of this bank. On my wish list! I’ve kind of learned to think differently about the Kronos PCG files. One per project, and I just load what I need into it from all my a ...

It’s probably not just having buttons to access them. More banks on tap is going to take away from available sampling RAM, especially if the programs have new samples. And that would also mean longer boot time to auto-load the samples. Boot time is another frequent complaint. I’m not sure exactly how ...

Sure, I’m in favor of Korg finding a way to increase the number of user banks on tap. Feels like we’re kind of beating up on Sounds of Planet for Korg not doing this though. His other post kind of went that direction too. I sincerely doubt Sounds of Planet has much say in the matter.

I kind of doubt the 3rd party sound library makers have much more pull with Korg than we (the user community) do. Would you rather they stop making awesome sound libraries? I wouldn’t.
