OK...HERE'S SOMETHING The problem seems to be the KeyStep. I noticed in the manual, or was it a YouTuber (?) that KeyStep can play an ARP / SEQ and then also transmit to a different Midi Channel to play along with said Arp/Seq, but it mentions doing this while connected via CV sync. I've never used ...

Thanks again for replying. I'm sidelined with some recording and mixing of other projects currently, but will get back to this later and let you know the outcome. Problem is though that I want KeyStep to be Master, using it some physical distance away from the Kronos, which, as I said, would just be ...

@Poseidon - Thanks again for your suggestion. Maybe you misunderstood me. I intend using KeyStep as MASTER not SLAVE, hence I have it set to INTERNAL clock. KeyStep will send the ARP / SEQ to Kronos (Sound)...Kronos is only the "sound module" so to speak. I then want to play 'a different sound' in ...

Apologies for my misunderstanding. I confess I didn't read through every previous post in this thread. I hope you get it sorted out. I think you'd be best off getting a dedicated Audio interface, which you seem to be aware of. There are plenty of affordable ones on the market. If it's just for the ...

Thanks for your reply Poseidon I have the KeyStep set to 'Internal' clock as it is the unit sending the Arp & or Sequence TO the Kronos. I'm not sure what you were suggesting..? Maybe my post was a bit rambling. I want to play the Kronos from the KeyStep, via Arps & or Sequences, as well as KeySteps ...

KRONOS: Multiple Midi Chn from External Controller..?
I'm trying to figure out how to play two different Midi Channels in Kronos from an external controller keyboard. I've just bought an Arturia KeyStep, and want to use it in a 'Live' band setup for playing Arpeggios, short Sequences, and jamming melodies etc. At times I'd be sat at the Kronos itself ...

PS: I use the PITCH function all the time. Often having the same Prog on different channels of a Combi, with them octaves apart, and blended in the mix. Of course you can also have them at different pitches, thereby creating a Chord when you play a single not. I've not used the Pads yet, and will ...

Yeah, that's where I adjusted Bend Range. At first some parts were going Up while others went Down, which as you say can be great for something OutThere...which is sorta what I'm after often. This time I just wanted to get an INFINITE downward Bend for the end of a song we're gonna be doing live. I ...

Thanks for the info. I did eventually find how to do this in a Combi of several instruments stacked up, all being played simultaneously. Something strange is that with a '-' value the sounds shifted UP and with '+' value they shifted DOWN. Maybe this has something to do with each program's specific ...

Joystick PitchBend edit?
Is there a way to adjust the Joystick pitch bend amount?
I can't find in the user manual how to adjust this.
It's set at only 2 semitone up or down, but I need to get at least an octave down.
I don't see a setting for it in Global, Combi or Program mode.
All help greatly appreciated.

KRONOS EDITOR Queries.
Hello, If there isn't a relevant board here on Korg forums, could somebody please point me to a forum that addresses Kronos Editor software. I've just joined up at the Sound Quest forums site trying to find details about the Kronos Editor for OSX that I've just started trying to use this morning ...

Thanks for the suggestions people. I do in deed intend to explore the Qui tutorials. The couple I've watched seem to require that you also use his 'SoundPacks' for the exercises, because I couldn't find the patches he was using. This seems a bit limiting That's odd, as far as i know i only have one ...
