I've been trying to replicate or get close to Keith Richard's rhythm guitar sound on Beast of Burden. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome! In your combi, just go to the Midi Filter/Zone tab and it will bring up Midi Filters #1, #2 and #3 where you can enable or disable damper (#1) or foot switch and pedal (#3).

If you haven't already you definitely want to download the operator and parameter manuals from the Korg site.

I think the problem is that in your timbre, the click sound isn't quite right and the rhythm isn't quite there. In the Van Halen intro, it sounds like an actual drummer is doing it on a separate rhythm track, not like it's part of the synth timbre. It has its own rhythmic stability that stands ...

Fellow noob here. I had the same problems until I formatted my USB on Kronos, instead of on my laptop. After that...the instructions mentioned in earlier posts worked fine.

Reviving this thread for some possible solutions on loading the K2_EXS19. I've have downloaded the zip file from KAPro 3 times, unzipped and every time I get an error message[..." option file bad or missing ". I was surprised also, but the OP's post got me curious. I do know the EV5 will not work on Yamaha's Tyros.

The EV5 has it's limitations, but it does work for what the OP was looking for by following 4God's instructions. Am curious Sander, why you prefer the FC7?

Just recently purchased Kronos2 and can't seem to be able to run an Iphone or any MP3 device through Audio-In so to be able to play along with material while using my headphones plugged into headphone jack. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
