Yes, CV-out to TOTAL. You can also use FREQ for weird sequencing with the modulation generator.
I forget to say you have to use the Frequency Modulation (MG/T.EXT) knob. If you turn it open it will work. On the SQ-1 you can adjust the different pitch for each note.

Mini modwheel out>MS20M junction in>junction out>for example the MS20M Cutoff freq... :-)
