Page 607 of the parameter guide states “The tempo of the song and KARMA cannot be set independently.” If you have the Karma Kronos program, you could likely work around it by modifying the actual GE to work with the master tempo of your sequence. I don’t have the Karma Kronos manual handy, but there ...

Sometimes crap happens. Things fail, but you can’t write off a product due to a few issues. If it was widespread, affecting a huge number of units, then caution is warranted. My Kronos2 was a store display unit, so it was exposed to environmental conditions before I bought it. That machine spent o ...

I'm pretty sure the Step Sequencer cannot trigger new envelope events. You might want to try a KARMA module. Actually, it will do it. The voice I referenced in my post (Kyrie) does it from the step sequencer. It recreates the distinct synth/bass line that you hear in the Mr. Mister song Kyrie but ...

Do you have the Kronos 2? If so, you may be helped by looking at the voice “Kyrie” in the bass category. If not, then I don’t know what you can check. But this is something I have yet to figure out, but I’m sure it has to do with the ams mixer area. It seems to mix a gate along with the step sequenc ...

The step or common sequencer should be able to do what you want. For example, if you look at the parameter guide on page 221, it shows the step sequencer for the AL-1 engine. Look at the spot labelled 8-1d. To the right of the value sliders for each step, you will see the note duration for the step ...

Usually what messes up a hard drive, whether SSD or platter drive, is interrupting the write process by shutting off the device during writes. Doesn’t matter, though during reads. They’re pretty robust physically, able to take up to 100s of g-force load. had my Kronos2 61 riding with me for a cou ...

Amazing how some are having issues with theirs. Got a K2-61 that's been residing in my truck ( I drive truck/lorry for a living) and it's never failed to start up. I mess with it when I can find some time.

Oh, you were working with a combi. TIMBRE PARAMETER page and the PITCH sub page. Sometime I gotta try it out by setting one up and really messing up the numbers to get each voice to pitch up or down differently. See what crazy stuff I can come up with. Check out page 472 in the parameter guide. I’m n ...

There is a way to change the amount of pitch bend from the joystick. Does depend on the engine you are using. For HD-1, got to the OSC/PITCH page and look for OSC 1 PITCH and OSC 2 PITCH. Near the top, you will see JS(+X) and JS(-X). You can enter the amount of maximum pitch bend on the joystick ...

My Kronos is the only hardware synth I own. Have NI Komplete 10 ultimate.

Would love to get my hands on a Jupiter 80 to pair with my Kronos.
