Yup, now Kromatic works on my emulator :-) I have also succeeded loading the samples into the Krome, but I can't get it to work in other programs than F001 which I find kind of weird. Also, the samples do not stick to the keys I assigned them to, but thats ok, I can live with that (they insist on ...

I am trying again, with a different emulator. I tried to install it at one using Windows 7, and had to install .net framework first, but even after I did that I did not succeed in installing Kromatic. Now I am trying with Parallels uding Windows 8.1 (for which I didn't need a license). It is ...

Is that because I should use Kromatic instead of Kromatool? To be clear: the software I'm referring to here is Kromatic. It has nothing to do with Kromatool. I used some early versions of Kromatool and while it reflected some really good work by cyph, it didn't have a good user interface nor ...

I have now downloaded the Kromatic manual also, and the demos. I succeeded in loading the demo files into the Korg Krome an playing them back (do re mi etc). I have also encoded a .raw file from my own sample, then created META.IMG and SAMPLE.IMG with Kromatool. However, when I load them into the ...

OK thank you. The Kromatool I downloaded did not come with a manual, only a jar file :-)

Hi, I can use an emulator, but that only works with the Windows os, so I will have to buy that as well. Kromatic still works with Mac, though. I have figured out how to convert a wav file into META.IMG and SAMPLE.IMG Now, I only need to figure out how to load them from the SD Card and on to my Korg ...

I can't download it.

"Downloading was canceled due to access from a link source not recommended, such as a direct link to a file."

I can't right click and download, either.

I can't figure out how to load the wav files into midi files so that they can be put into combinations. It does not work as it did on the Triton Extreme? Anyone?

Thank you for the quick reply! I shall try that. I was asking about USB, though, but now that I bought the Krome, I will have to use the SD solution, I guess :-)

Hi again,

since the Krome doesn't have a USB port like the Kronos and Triton, how is it supposed to read the USB stick?

Best, Astrid

Loading wav files from USB key

Hi all, I have a Korg Triton Extreme, which has the option of loading wav files from a USB key and then creating sng files etc and save them to the same USB. That way, I can add wav samples to programs and combinations, by loading the sng files and appending the data. Does the Krome have the same ...
